At Gulf British Academy we strongly believe in a firm relationship between school and home. We understand the importance of teacher-pupil-parent engagement and know how vital it is in a child’s progress through school. Indeed, this is core to our school vision.
So for the last two weeks we have invited parents, whose children are registered in Foundation to Year 3, to join us in our termly parent workshops.
These workshops have given parents a glimpse into daily life at school and our teachers have been sharing their knowledge as well as showcasing how we teach Phonics, English and Maths.
It has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all involved and parents have been able to take away many ideas for how to help their children at home.
We look forward to many more workshops and to continue building a strong relationship between school and home.
